Gray Gables Estate Wedding: Nicole + Andrew

No wedding is perfect, but this Gray Gables Estate wedding was pretty darn close ;) A beautiful August morning hailed their wedding day with golden splendor as they prepared for their first look in separate houses at Gray Gables Estate. Andrew was uncharacteristically anxious as he finished his tie and waited for the first look.

When Nicole, glowing in her bridal gown, told him to turn around- it was like hand-in-glove- every trace of anxiety vanished. Hands clasped, they took a deep breathe ready to become man and wife.

Nicole's meticulous attention to detail was obvious throughout their wedding day, beautiful framed images of their love story complimented the elegance of the venue. Purple flowers festooned the aisle and tables while guests mingled throughout the lovely grounds. As the ceremony approached, friends and family gathered at the pavilion, many of whom had traveled from across the country to be in attendance.

Surrounded by smiles, tears and much celebration Nicole and Andrew made their vows becoming Mr + Mrs Harazin :D

Victorian Belle Wedding

With undoubtably one of of the most emotional first looks I've ever photographed, this Victorian Belle wedding was one heartfelt affair. Kevin and Chelsea carefully curated every aspect of their wedding, leaving guests feeling their heartbeat every step of the way. Victorian Belle is a story in itself and the perfect backdrop for Chelsea's prep that morning. Tucked upstairs Kevin finished his final details awaiting the moment he would see his bride.

As the first look approached, the bride and groom requested absolute privacy and were filled with unspeakable joy as they met. Tears streaming, and eyes aglow they exchanged gifts with Kevin concluding again down one knee, asking "Chelsea, will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes of course I will!" was her response as they laughed together, clearly ready to become man and wife.

Chelsea and Kevin- it was such a privilege to be a part of this beautiful wedding. It truly was such a testimony of your commitment and love for each other. Thank you for entrusting your wedding memories to my care, and for including me on this specialist of days ;)

Annie Wright School Wedding: Jed + Cassie

Ohhh man, I loved this wedding. LOVED it. Annie Wright School is one of my new favorite venues- the light, the textures, the old-world detailing...I'm in love.

Despite the fact that our poor dog Sage was wondering the streets back in Portland (and yes, Dan had to drive all the way back to PDX to try and find her mid-wedding- such craziness) I loved every minute.

Cassie and Jed are not only beautiful people but their love is contagious. Dan and I walked away that evening exhausted, but more in love for seeing these two. The light in their faces when they look at each other, the fact that they have saved themselves exclusively for each other- it's rare and so precious.

Husband and wife. In the years ahead when bickering and struggles try to steal your love, remember again the two have become one, roll up the sleeves and get in there for the work.  Love is an ongoing action and takes years to perfect ;) Cheers to the start of the journey!

P.s.- This wedding will soon be featured on Something Turquoise
