Free Wedding Photo Timeline

Planning your wedding photo timeline is a crucial part in keeping the wedding day seamless and stress-free. A little coordination between the photographer, wedding team and bride/groom can ensure that everything goes smoothly without a hitch.

When I plan a timeline, it's typically based on an 8 hour wedding day. I always plan in cushion so that if things are running late, we have time and can make up for un-forseen challenges.

1: Start with the wedding Ceremony time. (4 or 5pm are the most popular because they allow enough time fore the ceremony/cocktail hour before dinner)
2: Are you doing a First Look? Single most important question. ;)

 3. Based on the ceremony time you can determine how many hours of coverage you want before/after the vows are made.

 4. ALWAYS plan at least 2 hours for brides hair/makeup. It always takes that long no matter how simple it is.

It's so much easier to just show you some samples- so here you go!

If the wedding coverage is 9 or 10 hours, I just add an hour to the end and/or beginning. With 8 hours, I have just a few minutes to get the very last finishing details of the brides prep. It is nice to have more of those prep shots- but if the client wants to keep the time on the back-end, I role with the punches ;)
